Justin Heathcliff - Justin Heathcliff (1971)

Justin Heathcliff - Justin Heathcliff (1971)

Beautiful laid back trippy Japanese psych album. Strong compositions, English vocals and a late '60's UK psychedelic rock/pop sound make this better than many UK albums of the era! Superb from start to finish. Featured on the Love Peace and Poetry series.

Pretty good, but not "trippy" or "psychedelic" at all, more like British freakbeat circa 1967.

I just checked out your whole blog. Amazing stuff my man. You really know your rare psych/folk stuff!

Wow, not what I was expecting at all, who cares about labels like trippy or psychedelic when the music is this good! A bit Beatle-y in parts; for those lovers of Badfinger and the like, this is a must for you.

OK

Hihou !
Nice blog, found couple yummy rareties that i didn't have. So thx very much !

This one is maybe little bit too (lolli)popish for my taste, but absolute intresting and not bad album at all.

And finally - 'cause i really don't know not a first woman who likes this kind of old psych-progressive-trippy-hippy-music' i'm just curious to know, is there really lady behind this blog ?
If there is, i'll raise my hat and salute you....

LOL...yes, there is really a lady behind this blog...:)
But I still want to know why girls with this kind of taste seem to be few...:)

Freaky Lady!

Thank you for all of the great music you've been sharing. You've turned me on to a lot of good stuff!

Check out my podcasts of vintage Sixties/Psych when you get a chance:

Keep the music flowing, my friend!

Hey I am a girl too! (well into the 60's though, so I am more an old lady). I didn't appreciate this music when I was the approprtiate age, but now am enjoying it immensely. Retirement has its benefits especially in the age of internet. Love your blog especially, as this music escaped my attention before this, and I identify with the sentiments and sounds of that era. Thanks so much.

This is definitly for those who like the badfinger-style rockpop. Nothing heavy here. I do like it and thanks for the file upload..
